Sold collection item not contact from buyer

What do you do in this situation? It's a large piece of furniture and buyer has paid about £200 but there has literally been no contact from them. Also they have a score of 0 but I can see they have a business specialising in these items.

I have stated in the listing the item needs to be collected quickly after bidding ends it's in a house that is being sold. It was sold Friday afternoon. What should I do?

In your listing, did you have a date it needed to be collected by?

If it did and you have not heard from buyer, message them via eBay messenger that you’re reminding them it needs to be collected by x date (and time) or sake will be cancelled

If you had not listed that, then message them reminding them that the listing said it needed to be collected quickly. If you don’t hear from them within 2 days (band the date) the transaction will be cancelled

Then that is what you do. They will get a refund from PayPal for what they paid and you get your fees back.

Resist the item but do so with very clear dates. You can send offers to those watching your item too so near that in mind

If you’re really only wanting to get rid of and the money isn’t an issue, put it for free in fb market place. But do say it’s listed elsewhere, no holding, first come to collect. People jump at these opportunities.

Thanks , i said the item needed to be collected soon after the auction ended and didn't want to be too firm on a date but wish I had now.

Ebay can be such hard work. I will give them until Thursday then cancel the payment and offer to second bidder.

Fgs I gave the date if I didn't hear by (tomorrow) they then emailed for my number and address and now still no further contact.
