Can I cancel an auction

A friend has said she wants the item I'm selling.

yes you can cancel all bids and then you can cancel the auction.

Go to 'my ebay' and go to the individual item - go to the drop down menu next to the item and click on 'end item early'. This will cancel the item you are selling.
