Should I say something about the items condition?

I bought a set of childrens books on 22nd described as 'VGC', the auction was just a list of the titles, from smoke and pet free home, postage is x. When they arrived, again yesterday, they had a few creases each on the covers, one also had a childs bite mark on the side of it. Everything else was fine, communication, speed of delivery etc. Am I being precious or would you say something about this?

I'd say that sounds like VGC tbh. If they'd said "as new" or maybe excellent I might have been a little disappointed. They're children's books, they were never going to be pristine.

I would find it annoying but if they were very cheap and it won't affect the reading of them I don't think it is worth the bother.

VERY GOOD (VG) Very light wear to book, and/or jacket; no large tears, or major defects.

I'd say they fit the description.
