Is it safe to sell a ring on eBay, I've been offered £95. Is there any way I can be scammed? Thanks

Presumably it’s on as a best offer bid?
Yes you can get scammed but certain precautions will help.
Ensure they have a decent feedback rating and haven’t just joined.
Despatch to uk only.
Take photos of it as you’re packaging it and what packaging you’re sending it in and the exact weight.
Make sure you send it fully insured.

Ps scams can happen when buyers declare you’ve sent them an empty box (something else in its place) or that it’s not arrived. Then eBay will likely refund the buyer.
Equally ensure you’ve actually received the money and don’t go by an email telling you you’ve got it (in case it’s a fake email)

Thank you for advice. It's so hard, most buyers are genuine but the scammers worry me, like them then saying it arrived it an empty box and PayPal refunding.
