How is eBay for selling clothes? I'm nervous.

I wanted to sell some of my baby's and 9 year olds clothes, and was going to chuck a lot of it into bundles. Most of the items are Primark/h&m/Gap. I'm not sure if eBay is the best place to sell, but I really don't want to meet people face to face and I'm sure other sites are for more designer stuff. Keep seeing stories of people asking for refunds and it makes me anxious!

I’ve been selling my child’s baby clothes on eBay for the past 2 years and haven’t had any bad experiences. My advice is when you post always keep the postal receipt just Incase.
Bundles are always a good idea if you want rid of quick. Always add in the description if any bobbling or marks and add as many pictures as you can. I list things singly that I know I’ll get more of, eg designer or boden, jojomaman. Pyjama bundles also seem to sell well. Also sell things seasonally as that’s what people are looking for- right now it’s all about Christmas clothes, coats and winter clothes.
Keep an eye out for any eBay selling offers, but I don’t think these are offered to new sellers straight away. Good luck!

If you’re going to list any individual items or small bundles which are light, say if you’re willing to combine postage (up to 2kg) as it can entice people to buy other things too.

@AlfieandAnnieRose Listing certain items separately is a good idea. I've got lots of mini Boden and little bird clothes that seem to be really popular. Thanks for the advice!

@ireallyamthewalrus

Where would I write that? In the description area?

@Whatsthatspookynoise great those brands sell really well!

Yes. Something like ‘Take a look at my other items for sale. Happy to combine postage’. If someone wins multiple listings you can issue an invoice with amended postage costs
