Parcel Force/Courier for sending heavy box of toys

I've sold quite a few things on ebay and have always just been able to package them up and walk to the Post Office to post them. However, I am thinking of selling a big bundle of toys and am wondering how I will post them. How do you go about booking a courier or using Parcel Force? Do I have to book them or will the person bidding do it?

Sorry if I'm being a bit thick here - any advice would be much appreciated!

I have used Interparcel in the past - seem good, turn up and pick stuff up. You can log on and find out how much it will cost in advance - www.interparcel.com or co.uk I think.
