Just received the items and they were described as new girls M&S tights. Any tights i have ever bought from M&S have had a label in them saying marks and spencers with the age on it too. these have no lable and its not been cut out well no sign of it anyway.

just wondered if anyone else ever bought m&s tights with or without lables in?

Cant you tell if they have been worn or not by the shape?, unworn tights are usually a bit shapeless, ie, no heel shape etc, do the feey look clean and unscuffed?

totalyfreaky · 13/10/2007 08:38

feey??, ignore that

eleanorsmum · 13/10/2007 08:43

no they look new but maybe been washed once? foot shape still in place. think they are ok but something niggling me!

Oh I think I read that wrong, do you mean you think they are not M&S tights?

minesalargeone · 13/10/2007 08:56

I've bought M&S tights before and they've had the M&S label sewn into the back waist with the age etc.

All my M&S tights have an age label sewn into them. Can't remember if it has M&S on the label though, but certainly they all have something. I find all good makes have some sort of label, cheaper ones don't..... I would be upset if this was the case, as M&S tights are certainly far better quality than say Tesco tights. I don't mind paying the difference for the better 'feel'.

Perhaps mention to the buyer that they 'might' have made a mistake, as all your other M&S tights have labels?

minesalargeone · 13/10/2007 09:12

If you feel they aren't M&S tights you should firstly contact the seller and ask them to clarify. If they are reluctant to offer you a full refund etc (if indeed they aren't M&S) then you can go down the road of reporting to ebay that you have received an item which is not as described in the listing.
