With dp being made redundant i thought i would try and save us some money by gettin dds clothes off ebay. I bought what i thought was a great bargain. A black sack full of newborn-6mnths girls clothes. They arrived today, filthy and there were about 6items that were between 0-6. Ive emailed the person i bought them from but what happens next? What if she ignores me? Gawd i feel such a fool now. I thought i was saving money when infact ive spent the much needed money on a load of crap!

did the auction list exactly was what in the bag or was it just advertised as a bin bag of clothes? did you pay via paypal or cheque/postal order?
I would email them and ask them for their comments. If you don't get any joy and you paid via paypal, you can start a dispute in paypal as items not as advertised.

Tortington · 10/10/2007 15:17

e-mail her that you will give bad feedback unless she pays for cost of postage of her crap back to her and refunds your money.

EBAY IS SHIT. shit shit shit.

i do not comrend why you would buy clothes fromt here when you can buy nice tings at a charity shop or even heapo shops like primark and QS sell stuff really cheap.

dont ebay again!

instead work out how much you have - what you want and ask mumsnet.

fedupwasherwoman · 10/10/2007 15:26

Do you mean that there were only 6 items in total in the bag or that there was other stuff in different age ranges ?

Can you post the ebay auction number so we can see and advise you better ?

DevilishDonna20x · 10/10/2007 15:29

It was advertised as a bin liner full of newborn-6months all in good condition. I payed via paypal so if i have no luck with her i will start a dispute.
I always go in charity shops to buy los clothes n primark. But i went in last week in the charity shops n there wasnt anything in

message her and tell her that the items are not as described and you require a refund.
If she refuses simply file a SNAD, paypal will require you to return them (send them trackable) and then you will get your refund

sixlostmonkeys · 10/10/2007 15:32

copy/paste item number

There was a black sack full. Its not the amount of items im complainin about its the sizes n state of them

So the bag was full, but only 6 items were for 0-6 months, yet it was advertised as all being for that age group, and they were all dirty? is that right?

If it's "not as described" then you should be albe to make a complaint via ebay

She's actually got 100% positive feedback so would assume that she would like to keep it that way. Email her and express your disappointment and ask for a full refund as items were not as described.

DevilishDonna20x · 10/10/2007 16:13

I emailed her and she replyed back saying that she was sorry, she sold them 4 a friend so didnt know the condition and she will give us a refund! Thank u 4 all ur help

DevilishDonna20x I am looking to get rid of our baby girls old clothes soon, but was going to be putting most of them to charity.
If you're interested in anything FFP, then you can mail me on dawne109 at yahoo.co.uk and I can let you know what I have/you can tell me what you are looking for.

FLIER · 10/10/2007 16:14
