So, while scrolling through ebay the a few weeks ago there were some brand new clothing items listed as £2 with free postage and packaging through a business seller.
I bought one dress.
A thought it was a bit too good to be true so a few hours later I went to check feedback and other listings.
I found that every item they was selling was £2. I saw a few more bits i liked and bought some more, i figured that no one could make that mistake so many times and so they must be getting rid of old stock. If it makes a difference they were a Chinese seller which is in general alot cheaper and usually offers free delivery anyway.
They messaged me saying a normal message thanking me for my purchase and that my items will be with me in 5 days (very generic) and sent that message through twice as they went through both orders.
A day later they send me another message saying there was an issue with price and they don't want to send the items but will out of goodwill.
A few days later another message saying the parcel had been returned to their warehouse for an unknown error, they really didn't want to send it out but will try again. I think all this was basically planting the seed or something.
So last week, the one dress I ordered was delivered through yodel, I was quite surprised as I thought I was eventually going to just get a refund with all the errors and issues with the seller. But my first order of one dress arrived.
Now, a week later, my second order of several items hasn't arrived, I message the seller, and they tell me their tracking says it came last week.
They are trying to claim my one dress included both orders with all my items, it definitly didn't.
I've been on yodel tracking and I can't find anywhere with the size and weight of the parcel, essentially, if the seller uses the same tracking number for both orders, is ebay going to say tough shit?
The seller definitely hasn't sent them, because they sent several messages trying to say they didn't want to send them, but all ebay will see is tracking. 😫
