I'm not listing Christmas Pressies i'm listing winter clothes/party dresses etc and as the weather has turned I thought they would go - ah well they end on thursday so I might do a car boot on saturday just to get rid!!

hattie its very easy but you have to wait a while to set paypal up as you need to verify your account with them to accept money, takes a week or so

When do you think people start buying on eBay for christmas presents? Or don't they? I guess the current postal strike is putting a lot of people off!

I guess that depends on the person and how organised they are

This is my 1st christmas selling so i don't know, I guess around now should be ok but with the postal strike people may wait another week or two

I've already got a paypal account because I buy stuff from ebay. It's the selling bit that I can't do! How do I get my photo's onto the right place on ebay? I know I'm thick!

You still need your paypal account to be verified for selling, you need to set it up for selling by confirming the bank account you will use as a back up account and they will then put a small sum of money into your bank account and send you a verification code in the post once you see the money is in your acc and you have the code you then have to confirm the amount they put in your acc back to them - does that make sense?

Yes thanks for that. Will get started with that bit and ask my technical friend about the other bits. While I've been on mn my 3 yr old has been putting cold ashes from last nights fire in his pants and in various piles around the lounge. When I shrieked OH MY GOD! He said "Sorry mummy but that why you're on the computer!" Aargh!!

The photo bits are easy just take the pics of what you want to sell load them onto your computer and when you fill in your info form that item there is a part to insert the pic - its very easy but will probably be better if someone shows you how to do it, have fun!
