Anyone have experience of using the qr code for collection items?

We have sold quite an expensive item on ebay and the buyer has paid with paypal despite me putting in the ad cash on collection only. DP says that there is now a new method where you scan a qr code the buyer has when then collect the item which proves they have got it so they can't do a chargeback. Has anyone done this or would people reccomend sticking with cash only.

I'm sticking with cash only.
eBay will always side with buyers if they raise an issue so it's not worth the hassle.

Yes thats what we did in the end. We refunded the buyer their paypal payment, and they paid cash when they collected it.
