So after numerous problems with Hermes Deliveries - in one week alone a damaged and soaking wet parcel which was marked fragile, a parcel left very visible and in pouring rain when delivered outside of given timeslot, and a parcel delivered 1.5 hours before start of given timeslot, I have made a conscious decision to not use online retailers who use them.
So yesterday I spotted an item I wanted to buy on ebay,, checked the delivery info and it said ''economy delivery (Royal Mail 2nd Class) ". Was also listed by a charity who I like to support. Happy days!!
Today I receive an email saying it has been dispatched and will be delivered by MyHermes via Parcel2Go 
Is this common in listings? Is it a case of messaging each seller before committing to buy to confirm their delivery arrangements are as per listing, because I REALLY do not want to entertain Hermes any more (had numerous problems at a previous address also)
