How to get paid?

Buyer purchased item from me on eBay last month. I sent it via Royal Mail recorded delivery and unfortunately it did not arrive.

I waited for the correct period of time as per RM and then still not delivered as per tracking so I refunded the buyer and put in a claim with Royal Mail. Royal Mail then delivered the item 3 days later and rejected my claim for compensation.

Buyer is not responding to my messages - is there anything I can do?

Block them for the future.

So there's no way of getting my money back?

Go through royal mail, they failed to deliver on time

They don’t guarantee a delivery time, so this would be fruitless.

OP, I think you can appeal with eBay. They may reimburse you if you have proof the item was delivered. It’s worth giving them a call to find out.

Sorry my phone didn't alert me to the replies. Buyer never replied to me so I will try appeal with eBay, I have delivery confirmation from RM.

I think Royal Mail may refund me the postage if I complained but I can't see them compensating loss of an item of clothing when it is not lost and is with the buyer. It wasn't something that was time limited and the buyer should pay for it given they have it

They won’t refund you the postage, as the delivery time is not guaranteed (unless you sent the item Special Deliver, which I’m presuming you did not)
