"new" book written in - advice on feedback please!

I bought a book off somebody with 100% feedback and the book was described as "new". When it's arrived she's tipp-exed her name off the front of the book. (When you look on the photo of it you can actually see this though)

Now tbh, it makes no difference to me and I would have bought it used anyway but I think it's very cheeky to describe it as new when it clearly isn't.

So what feedback do I give? What would you do?

message her, explain, and give her the opportunity to offer a refund, or partial refund etc. - FB would be dependent on her response

This should have been mentioned in the listing. Say you'd like a partial refund as you would not have bought it if you had been aware that there was any defects.

Always buy 'new' books with a pinch is salt. i bought a new book the other week, but it was all dinted and the pages were dark yellow, non of this was mentioned.
