Buyer can't collect item

I have a large bulky item which I listed and 'sold' on Sunday evening as part of the £1 selling fees promotion. The successful bidder after two days of faffing about and being vague has now stated that he can't collect it as it won't fit in his car. I'm understandably pretty hacked off but I'm not sure what to do next. I don't want to incur selling fees for an item that's not actually sold. Please can anyone advise on what I should do next. Thanks

you can cancel the sale. it's very irritating as obviously if you relist it the fees promotion won't apply, but you have no comeback on that. I think it's possible to block that person's account from bidding on your items in future.
