What is this about? Seller threatening reporting me to Ebay when package still in transit

Is this a scam?

I bought some second hand clothes and paid immediately. The seller asked if I could pay into another PayPal account but it was too late as I had paid.

They posted it a few days later and asked me to let them know when it arrived. Its showing as tracked and still in transit. I have not chased the seller at all.

Now they saying the will report to Ebay and PayPal as everyone else got there parcel within two days.

Report me for what? Her parcel she posted being still safely in transit? I have not reported it lost, damaged or stolen etc. I generally couldnt give a crap as long as it turns up at some point.

It's a item I paid for, in the last week and proof that I dont have it.

I wondered if she got mixed up with someone she brought FROM but it looks unlikely as as I had about four emails about the item. Or maybe it sold for too little and she wants to keep it? But something is being tracked to me.

I told her to report me. Wtf is that about?

It's nonsense, that's what it is! Tell her to go ahead and report you. The onus is on the seller to ensure the item gets to you and unless she can prove that it has then she's got zero legs to stand on!

Just don’t get involved. Ignore the threats. If the items arrive leave appropriate factual feedback. If not simply open a case on EBay and let them deal with it. If she messaged you through EBay they will have a record of this and you should win your case. Don’t engage with her in any way.
