Postage help please? Can't get my head round these new blooming charges!

The Royal Mail site has a bit that you can use to get the cost. If it's a thick paperback (over 2.5 cm thick when wrapped/in envelope) then it's classed as a packet.

if you were covreing cost of packaging and post then that would seem quite reasonable as most of books i ordered are light and still come in at 1 pound 80 0dd so adding cost of packaging on top would seem reasonable l;oads of people add little extra on p&p and put low start price
