Items to sell? To be fair, if someone has discovered something that is selling well, then they’d be a fool to share it!

I used to be a business seller and tbh the hardest part was researching products to sell that you could profit from.

I've sold all sorts before (eBay) but in the end I found that having sufficient stock to make even a bit of extra cash just took up too much space. I lost my whole spare bedroom to boxes of stuff that had been listed and was waiting to sell, or had been cleared out and was waiting to be listed.

Now I don't tend to bother. I have regular clear outs to the charity shop or tip. I don't make money, but it saves a huge amount of time and space.

what are you buying to sell?

One way we used when we began was to compare number of items listed with number of items sold (and at what price). It is easy to get hoodwinked by the prices some sellers put on stuff rather than the price it actually goes for. It is not completely foolproof but prevented us making quite a few mistakes. We deal in secondhand goods sourced mainly at auction but the same principle would apply to new goods. The market can change though in a relatively short space of times so you do need to keep doing this.
