Item not arrived, seller slow and sketchy about when it was sent

I bought an item on Ebay on the 3rd Sept and paid for it instantly via paypal.
By Tuesday 11th I still hadn't received the item and I sent a message to the seller, asking if she had posted the item as I was concerned it had been lost in the post, I had a reply from her on Wednesday night saying 'she posted them a week ago and she would see if she could find the receipt on Thursday to track down'. I still haven't heard anything back from her.
Should I wait a bit longer or start worrying that I'm being strung along?

i would e mail her one more time about the item and say if she cant find reciept then you will open dispute but leave it 12 days excluding weekends as that is how long a parcel can take to arrive then open the dispute

what was her feedback rating? if all positive could be general mistake but if others have experienced postage problems they may have put it in feedback

i had dealings with real pleasent lady who indeed had posted item took 2 weeks before i got it though so i would leave it for the 12 days as this is what parcel post time is indicated at
