I have got lots and lots of piles of baby clothes... Is it worth the effort of ironing them all to make up baby bundles? Do they really sell? What about maternity clothes?

fanks.

Baby clothes - No. Waste of time.

Maternity - yes, if in good condition and recent style.

Ime maternity things seem to sell well. Baby clothes: it depends very much on the make. There seems to be a lively market for monsoon, next and the really expensive brands, whereas adams, mothercare, and supermarket things don't sell so well. It might be worth spending ten minutes having a look at what's on ebay and what items have bids: that should give you an idea of whether it's worth putting your things on.

It depends upon the brand of baby clothes, designer ones and Next/M & S do sell if they are unique and sometimes vests and sleepsuits but otherwise I wouldn't bother.

Maternity clothes do sell but they need to be recent or useful ie shorts in summer sell very well

Yes - good idea re searching previous bundles - you can look at 'completed listigns' in Advanced Search....

OK. I think I will freecycle the supermarket babygros and maybe ebay a few nice things. Ditto on maternity clothes.

Phew. Glad I asked that before I did about 100 hours of ironing.

Thanks

baby clothes I have sold in bundles and always made over £25 a bundle plus postage.

So if I did a mix of supermarket and gap etc would that work? If I'm up front about what's in it?

i find 0-6 months dont sell
6-24 months sell as long as some designer, Next always sells well and monsoon

i usually just list everything in the bundle and where it is from. I have a bundle of boys clothes on at the min and even put if something has stains etc in.
