Have just had a listing removed as it had abrand name in the title and using brand names to divert attention to your listing is not allowed, according to the email.
Fine,
But the listing is for apair of adidas trainers , so of coiurse it says adidas in the title...
what the hell else am I meant to put?
Anyone have away round this?
If I complain to ebay, will I be fobbed off?
TIA

although some brand companies are very keen on the sale of their name I don't think it's the case here - I reckon someone has reported your listings. You upset anyone recently?

saltire · 06/09/2007 08:28

I think someone has reported your lsitings. I've just logged onto ebay and there are tons of trainers listed as " adidas trainers"

Pixiefish · 06/09/2007 08:32

You've been reported by another seller. Probably someone who didn't want the competition.

Dh had a listing pulled last week for spamming. His said- As new refurb computer. Well it was as new and it was refurbished.

Ebay are aload of crap

Email them back and in the email tell them that other sellers are listing items with the brand name in the title yet they haven't been removed. See what their response is

Nbg · 06/09/2007 08:42

My friend had this the other week and she just reported them too as they were selling the self same items.

I read a losting the other day for a leather jacket that said "like Kate Moss" or something to that effect, and she had stated that the listing had been removed.

Seems silly really when you gte the option to pick a brand on most item listings.

Pah! miserable gits!
How the hell do you list a next coat, without saying its next? (well, if you wanna sell it anyway..
will email them
Thanks guys
(do people really have time to go theough listings to report ones they feel threatened by) ?
