she has provided her account no but i'm lost as to what to do next really

Does she have a fedex account, is she payig the postage cost by fedex???
I think all you do is ring fedex and book a collection slot, they'll give you an airway bill number to track the parcel once it's been collected.

You will need to check with Fedex to find out exactly what forms you will need to fill out for an international package. It's not too complicated, but does have to be done right.
