Postage abroad hassle

Hi I advertised a child's toy on eBay. Postage £8.

Once dismantled I realised I would need two boxes as it really is huge.

I put an extra comment on and said I would need more postage. Another £8 for the second box. I also added a postage for £16 and wrote this in the description.

I must not have changed my settings as someone from Hungary won.

I've been trying to get a quote for him over a week.

He told me to post first then he would pay. I opened a case to cancel the transaction.

He still wanted the item.

I don't drive and had to get a lift to the post office. I asked whether it would be cheaper to post together or separate. One of the boxes is too large to go abroad too.

Anyway I told him what the post office had said.

"3 options cheapest being with parcel force £45.12"

She said one was
1326g (43x27x16 cm)
The other
1738g (41x46x14cm)

I told him I'd cancel but he sent more money totalling £24 all together.

I've messaged again to say this still isn't enough.

I'd cancel again but I think he really wants it. He only paid £36 for the item. Although it's probably worth £120 I expected to get £25-35.

Is anyone able to help. Is there a cheaper way to post other than parcel fore or Royal Mail?

Thank you

I have autism and admit I make problems bigger than they are so please understand I do know

Have you looked at couriers like Yodel, they are often cheaper than RM and will collect from you?
As it was my mistake personally I would suck it up, post and take the loss. Your other option is to cancel the transaction as out of stock, but you will get a defect.

I think you have to cancel, OP, and take whatever strike gets set against you (this is not end of the world). No courier will be as cheap as you need.

Selling can be a pain. I feel for you.
