8 watchers - surely one must bid soon?!!

My item ends at 4pm and there are 8 people watching it. Surely one of them has to bid on it soon?! I know it's just a waiting game but i dont know how long i can keep clicking my refresh button for.....

I often watch and then forget to bid on stuff if the auction ends during the day. Much better after 8pm for me. If I am going to bid though, I tend to do it in the last few seconds, so hopefully you'll have at least a couple of buyers doing that .

Unfortunately I'm not convinced there's a correlation between number of watchers and number of bids, let alone final selling price.

Why is your item ending at 4pm on a Friday?

I'm my old engagement ring - not really expecting it to sell, but i live in hope.

It's ending at 4pm on a friday because i put it up for sale last Saturday for 7 days. Is that bad then??

How do you know if someone is watching your item?

i bet it will go in the last min. maybe someone has put swiper software on it.

SEA - what's swiper? Is that like auto-bidding or summat?

yes they may have set it up for the last minute or so. then they aren't tied to to computer. don't use it myself like the rush at the end

Have relisted it for ten days so it now ends on a Monday, giving people a chance to see it at the weekend (i hope).
