Recently sold an item on eBay...buyer left positive feedback, tracking shows they have received. I have now just had an email to say PayPal are holding the money because buyer did not authorise this transaction. I have tried to message them on eBay but English is very bad and don't know what they are trying to say. Anyone know if I will get the funds released.
This stuff puts me off selling on eBay.

If you have tracking you will be fine.
Just make sure it’s uploaded against the dispute details.

Upload the tracking details then call PayPal, they should release your funds immediately

I get these occasionally OP. If you have confirmation of delivery and have uploaded it to eBay you should be fine. In my experience I do get the money although there's usually a delay. I assume the buyer gets a refund.

Whenever this happens I always wonder why the buyer isn't surprised at a £200 item appearing as if by magic and when opening it and seeing my address details they don't make any effort to return the item to me which they never ordered.
