Bought a coat - fab condition as described but it really smells...

What would you do if you bought a leather/fur coat which is lovely, good condition etc but it really has a smell. The sort of smell that when left overnight in the kitchen the smell is overpowering. Thought it was cigarette smoke to start with but I think it is more like a fire smell. Have sprayed it with fabreze inside where the fake fur is. Hung it in the garden for two days airing and yet it still stinks. Have I got a leg to stand on with getting in contact with the seller or is it tough? Help anyone.....

Yes I guess so, but as it was described as "as new" "worn once" I expected it to be new condition in all ways.
