Genuine UK based sellers?

How do I find them?

I’m so tired of ordering what I think is a UK based product, from a UK based Company only to find that it’s being shipped from China and takes weeks to arrive.

I keep forgetting to check the feedback in detail. Id I see that they have 98 or 99% feedback then i feel reassured.

I see lots of sellers putting a Union Flag on their item’s advert now too so that’s no help.

Do tired of the Chinese tat.

The easiest way to tell is scan down to the bottom of the listing and it will give you the sellers business address. The listing may have filtered through as UK based, but if they are in China, it will say so.

Try to remember to check the feedback because even if they are UK based many still sell the Chinese tat, by that I mean the stuff that is not fit for purpose, not sure what you mean by it, maybe something else - so much of the stuff sold in the world is made in China and not all of it falls to bits as soon as you look at it.

Aside from what Lottie said, feedback is a good way to see how long postage takes. I have bought items that arrived in a few days, in a little packet with Chinese lettering on where the location is Manchester. I check the feedback, and the location of the seller, and the registered address, but I buy based on the time it takes to arrive and the price, usually the same item as I would have bought from a UK seller if it is what I am looking for.

A lot of UK sellers are flogging cheap Chinese tat on there as well. I just stopped shopping on eBay, as have most people as my eBay business sales have done nothing but drop for the last three years. I'm currently running at -30% on last year. The owners have killed their own site bit by bit and all the best sellers have gone. I'm close to leaving myself.

You can select the option to show you only the sellers based in UK. You can also see the ETA they have given on the listing . If it is 2-5 days then it's local but if it is more then they are based outside UK.

I always select ‘UK only’ on filter but chinese sellers always get through.

Where are you selling now if youve closed down your Ebay shop?
