Police Tickets not arrived yet - any suggestions on what to do?

Bought tickets off ebay for 8th September. Seller has good feedback so seems ok. I have emailed him 3 times and he says he is looking into it, but hasnt given any firm details. Last email (yesterday) he hasnt yet replied to. I was expecting them mid august (won auction in May) so only about a week later than I thought they would be here, but still getting a bit concerned.

Dont want to open a dispute so when should I leave it to to do that?

Dont want to alarm you but I received my tickets purchased from Ticketmaster at the end of May so he should have received them by now.

Isn't there only a certain number of days after the auction ends in which to open a dispute?

Good luck though.

I got mine thru Ticketmaster and received them not long after I booked (spring sometime?)

Howdydoody · 29/08/2007 12:48

I would report him to e-bay. especially as you have emailed him with no response. how much did you pay for tickets?

Howdydoody · 29/08/2007 13:27

Not too much- £55 inc p and p I think. Still a lot to lose tho Have tried to contact him again and will give him 24 hrs to respond.

That's not too bad then. When you paid did the invoice have his address on it? Maybe you could contact him by post too.

Howdydoody · 29/08/2007 18:42

Yes Lolly I think it did, but it was in May so cant seem to find the details on my ebay. He hasnt responded yet but is still selling so at least I know he's still around

Did you pay through PayPal? You will find all his details on there.

southeastastra · 30/08/2007 10:51

get ebay to email you his phone number and call him

MerlinsBeard · 30/08/2007 10:53

sometimes ticketmaster don't release tickets until 10 days before the event. it is DEF worth an email to ask what is going on. it depends where he has got the tickets from in the first place and their policy.

DOn't report him yet but DO email and ask for order ref and info on where he ordered from and when you can expect them

Howdydoody · 30/08/2007 14:04

Found his email address and emailed him - x emails as he had just done same to me! Apparently they have got lost on way from Ticketmaster to him so are being chased through PO.He seemed genuine and is going to contact me today as to what he has found out - we shall see!!!

That sounds feasible! Fingers crossed.

Howdydoody · 31/08/2007 12:46

Right - so he hasnt got back to me and his items finish in a couple of hours. Do I
1.risk pretending to buy one of his items so that I get his address of the invoice - possibly-
2.start a dispute before he stops trading or
3.leave it for a while still?

Mumsnet, it's over to you!!!
