Is there a set amount of time a seller has to wait before opening an unpaid item dispute?

Auction ended 9 days ago, I sent seller an invoice on day it ended and another reminder after 7 days. Still no payment, or any communication to say that he's been away or will send payment etc. Can I open one now after 9 days then?

Maybe they're still away? A lot of people go for 2 weeks over the summer. Mind you, they should have emailed yo to say they'd be away when it ended, one of my bidders did.

He made the winning bid on the day the auction ended, so he can't have been away then!

Was it right at the auction end? It could have been a sniper.

No it wasn't right at the end, but it was on the day it ended. I have sent an unpaid item dispute thing to him now anyway!
