Hi,

Should I hear alarm bells? I am selling some low-value baby clothing, and have received an enquiry about cost of postage to Israel. This person has zero feedback. Should I be concerned?

Thanks

Others might have a different view but I wouldn't bother . It's not worth the hassle - if you haven't responded already just say you're sorry but you don't post outside the UK

I was kind of thinking the same but wasn’t sure if I was being unfair. It’s the zero feedback that concerns me more than the overseas postage.

The thing to be wary of is if the buyer claims not as described or non-delivered you will have to refund the cost of the international postage as well as the item cost. When the cost of the item is cheap it is just not worth the risk. A bit safer is to use the ebay global shipping programme as they refund if the parcel goes missing.

That's good advice, thank you.

Definitely don't bother, only do postage to addresses within the country you're in.

I have now excluded international buyers, as all my items are low value.
