Buying concert tickets on eBay - is it safe?

They look like genuine tickets but...

is it safe? Any drawbacks? Paypal will protect me, won't it?

Does it matter if the tickets have another person's name on them?

Thanks!

If they have someone else's name on them, how will you show id if asked?

Knittedfairies · 11/09/2019 18:44

I wouldn't risk it.

Buy from twickets.

Good point! Thanks. Have bought from Ticket Factory insead.

Next questions: how do I cancel an offer I've made on eBay? Doh.

You can message the seller to ask them to cancel it, I don't think that the buyer can cancel it directly. Do this as soon as you can though, and be apologetic.

Have just done it and have been very apologetic. That's the kind of thing I hate eBay buyers doing. 🙄 Bugger.

The seller might not know that a bidder can do this, and that the seller has to action it. I didn't know when I had the same scenario as a seller recently. I just used the eBay help facility to work out what to do (then blocked the bidder 😳).
