Expanded use number

[jangly]

I have just added a credit card to my ebay account and it says "expanded use number needed". Does anyone know what this is and how I get this number? Thanks.

thats normally for paypal and they usually charge a nominal fee to the card, and then when the payment appears on your statement there is a 4 digit number printed and you have to enter that before you can use the card.

Oh, so its the same as verification? Thank you!

Or is it not the same!? I'm totally confused. Do I do nothing until the card statement comes in, then enter the numbers that will be on that?

if youve done the verfication thing, then yep, that is what it will be and you wait for the statement.

Ok, I'll wait for the statement. Thanks very much.
