Item mouldy

I bought a running accessory on ebay, and when it arrived it’s got obvious mould on it. AIBU to request a refund?

How closely did you look at the photo(s) in the listing before you bought it?

YANBU. Open a not described case for a refund. If the seller wants the item back they will have to provide a pre paid returns label.

I rechecked the listing, and there was nothing on the photos that was obvious. Photos were a bit grainy and dark, but I wouldn’t have bought it if it was obviously mouldy.

So seller would take a return, but only if I pay postage that he used to send to me and then me sending the item back.

Is that the done thing?
