What do i do they are on the other side of London to me and the only reason why I bidded is because they stated they would deliver for free anywhere around the M25 now they are saying i need to collect can they do that!

No, they definitely can't unless they changed the item description before the auction ended.

Possibly the best thing to do would be to send the seller a message saying you're going to file an "item not as described" complaint with eBay, and see where they take it from there.

Print out a copy of the auction page saying you won, too.
