It fineshed on Tuesday night. It ob the buyer isn't going to pay, not answered any emails. I checked there feedback, it's only 1 and it's for an item the ended the day before mine, and is a car seat, mine is a car seat too. When can I relist and still be able to claim back the fees for it? Thanks

I think after 7 days you can file a buyer not paid dispute IIRC

Thanks slightlymadspider, so does that mean I shouldn't relist untill after 7 days

Yes - I think that ebay consider 7 days to be a reasonable timefram to pay so I don't thin kyou can/should do anything before that.

auntypurple · 20/07/2007 21:26

Ok, I will wait then, thanks again

have a look at this.

You have to wait 7 days to file an unpaid item dispute. By doing this not only will you get your final valuation fees back - but you will also get a free re-list.

before filing the dispute (maybe the day before), maybe send an email like "hi, haven't received your payment yet - if I haven't received payment within 7 days of the auction ending, I'll need to file an unpaid item dispute to claim my selling fees back"

perhaps put it a bit nicer than that, but you get the gist

crokky · 20/07/2007 21:49

oh and the dispute lasts minimum 8 days (unless buyer pays in that time) before you are entitled to free relist i think

SlightlyMadSpider · 20/07/2007 22:19

If you email them and get them to mutually agree to having not paid - you can relist quicker as there is no dispute. Instead you go down the unpaid items dispute but say that it is mutual. BUT by doing this they avoid getting a black mark on their name.

Hiya,
I have emailed them and asked them to mutually agree to having not paid, as I used the site to see what else they bid on, and they won 8 car seats inc mine that day, so hopefully I can get it back on sake asap. Think they will get a black mark anyway.

Sounds like they didn't undertand the binding contract having bid on lots. Hope you get it sorted.
