Paying with Paypal £600 what protection is there?

Want to buy some chairs from Germany and am rather apprehensive. What protection do Paypal offer if the chairs don't appear?

It normally says on the listing what the protection is

just had a look- generally it appears to be up to £500 here but check your listing to see what it says

They are slightly cheaper than the British chairs but I may be at the mercy of import duty or VAT so I suppose I should just go for the dearer ones from the UK.
