ah i think i have worked it out it is because it is in old one with a label saying burberrys instead of burberry which is presumably less desirable than the modern ones

also you are a new ebayer, it would put me off.

As sad as it sounds, if she had put "vintage" in her listing, it would have got more views.

sixlostmonkeys · 08/07/2007 15:41

This bit would put me off - I am prepared to refund the cost of the item minus the cost of postage.

A seller should refund the postage too - otherwise the buyer is out of pocket.

If you don't want to sell outside the UK you need to change your preferences

how long is the listing for?????? and what condition is it in??????? are the other coats new or in better condition.if your not happy where the person is bidding from then just cancel the bid

charliecat · 08/07/2007 16:35

I sell on ebay, if someones not happy with item, and through no fault of my own, I tell them to resell it.
If I have sold it as is described im not going to pay for anyones return postage!
I have 1300 positives BTW.

zippit · 08/07/2007 16:59

ah well it went for 65.00 in the end which is brilliant

yay! glad you got a decent price

charliecat - return postage is a different matter - even paypal don't refund that even tho they require the buyer to return the item. - so suggesting they resell is imo the best solution all round.

As for the initial postage though, if the item is not as described or arrives damaged, the seller should refund the full cost the buyer paid (item price + P&P)
