I want to sell a pair of table lamps which are a pair though someone might just want one.

How do I list this so someone can buy only one, but someone else might want to buy both?

Do Iist as Buy it Now for the pair? I'm confused.

what you could do is two listings for one lamp each, say ten minutes apart so if someone wants both they will bid on both and put in the listing if someone is interested in both to wait till you send the invoice so you can do a combined postage or pick up from you if both lamps

Thanks but I need to double check the rules- a quick look shows you can't list 2 identical items at the same time unless you go for Advanced Listing (which I assume is for businesses mainly selling lots of the same thing.)

If you scroll down your listing form there is a tick box for quantity. Simply put 2 and then the buyer can choose to buy one or both. You can also set up postage options so the buyer is only charged postage once.

You can choose advanced listing, it is an option on the listing form, I use it as it gives more choices to edit HTML etc.

However, I also list a pair of items individually, using sell similar once the first is listed. You need to change the title slightly or the listing will not be permitted.

Just put in the description that you are selling another identical item and please look at your other items for sale.
