iPad case

Bought an iPad case advertised as 'real leather'.

Arrived today, fast delivery, good price and decent, well designed product but it clearly isn't leather.

I'll keep it, happy with what I paid for it (even though I would have preferred real leather) but don't think it's right the seller is describing it as leather when it clearly isn't.

Do I just forget about it and move on, or do I flag it up on Ebay?

You don't have to police Ebay. Your f/bk should be factual & reflect your level of buyer satisfaction. You could put down high stars but write "Not real leather but I'm happy with it anyway."

It was only a tenner, so cheap and arrived fast and it's a nice case.

It's just the fact they've described it as leather and it isn't.

I know it's not a big deal in the scheme of things but if I'd bought shoes described as leather and they weren't I'd be really pissed off.

I've messaged them anyway, saying I'm happy with the product but they shouldn't describe something as being made of a certain material when it isn't. I've also left them good feedback as it was fast delivery etc.

Yeah, they will just delete that message.

But the product was not as described. This is how people get away with it, nobody says anything.

Probably pleather or e-leather. Mix of leather and synthetics.

Just got a message back thanking me for the feedback and saying they will be changing the description to PU leather.
