and told them that if I don't get a suitable response from them within 48 hours, I shall be contacting the "consumer champion" in the Sunday post!
They have limited my account because they think someone tried to hack into it last week "because we noticed several attempts to change your details ". Well yes, that was me, because their system wouldn't let me change my address details because "it doesn't correspond with the address registered for your credit card" and wouldn't let me change my card details becaus ethe address didn't match. They attempted to take several payments of £2.50 from my card. I emailed them several times about this, and they kept saying "there is no reference of any payments from your PAYPAL account", they didn't seem to grasp that it wasn't my paypal account I was having the problems with, it was my bank card. The number of times the money was requested corresponded to the amount of attempts It took e to change my address, and the same thing happened to DH's card when he changed his over (without any problems I might add)
I now have quite a lot of money in my paypal acocunt that I want to transfer across to my bank acocunt in time for us going away on the 20th, but the account islimted and I ahve to wait for a letter with a verification code on it to arrive, which I have to enter into my account, then have to wait UP TO 30 DAYs for them to decide if I'm legit or not.
Ok rant over, I'll wait and see if they get back to me
