When is the best time/day to end auctions?????

I was thinking 10ish on a Sun night. Does it make a difference if you put things on for longer????

weekday (M-Th) evenings between 8:30pm and 10pm. Lots of people only browse the auctions ending in the next hour, and weekday evenings are when the most people are browsing.

Also, not in summer. wait until late September now, if you can, selling prices go down for most things between now and September. Big Exception is for school stuff.

I suspect it's good to list for at least a week if you can, but I don't know for sure. Ebay discussion boards are very good for your type of Qs, btw.

Hi there MM again ( just answered on your other thread! )
I sell quite a lot on Ebay and I find that I always do quite well if I do a 10 day listing starting on a Thursday evening/night then you listing will cross 2 weekends and that enables you to gather watchers.
Another tip is to list loads so it comes up on the first Sunday after pay day ie last Sunday was good as it was the 1st of July. The last weekend before payday I find is a bit slow as people are skint !
One more thing, although you can't control this one! The weather makes a big difference, if its a wet weekend like the last few have been you definately sell more!!
I usually end mine between 9.30 & 10.00 pm
Don't end them during anything popular like Corrie ie 7.30 til 8.00pm !
