When to start listing winter clothes on Ebay?

Just that, really.

I'd assumed I would wait till September before putting all the winter stuff on (and there's a socking big bag full of good-quality outgrowns cluttering up my study).

But then I saw all those threads by super-organised MNers saying they'd already bought all the school uniforms ready for September, and wondered whether I should steal a march. But surely most people are still buying summer stuff, if anything. It seems awfully quiet on ebay atm.

What are other people planning to do?

I've found ebay very, very quiet these last couple of weeks, and am waiting until mid Sept before listing anything else.

Yes, my feelings too. Though dh's broken laptop did go for £90 on Sunday.

I have sold quite a few items over the last few weeks. All on Buy it now.
Some were jumpers/jeans/trousers.
Even on some summer days a jumper is nice for a chilly evening or at a bbq!

Mine is really winter stuff -- kids coats, fleeces etc.

Shucks -- guess I'll just have to put up with falling over bags of stuff for a couple more months!

With the weather we are having just now, why not list them now

frogs · 03/07/2007 13:29

Indeed. In fact, if I put some duffel coats and a job lot of woolly tights on a 10-day listing on Thursday night, we can probably guarantee blazing sunshine until the following Sunday.

Clearly it's my public duty to get on with it!
