I've done a lot of trading on eBay in Oz but only buying here in the UK. I gather the PO are only any good for sending upto 2kg, beyond that it seems to become a quagmire of different companies/couriers etc. I need to be able to quote a postage cost on my listings. How do I calculate it? WHo do you recommend? I imagine the items will be no more than 5kg, max. Thanks!

there is nothing wrong with sending stuff via parcels through the PO. It's going to be a lot more expensive if you start looking at couriers.

I've sent a lot of things to Oz and it's a lot cheaper if you send them in 2kg limits, even if you have to send the parcels in 2 packages. If you can split the parcels, do that. If not, then you will probably have to source a different method of carrier.

You can send via the PO over 2kg, but it becomes unfeasibly expensive, unless it's books/printed matter.

But of all the international carriers I have an involvement with, UPS have been great.
