Paying via a different paypal account to that listed / cheque - what protection do I have?

The linked paypal account has been blocked. They want me to pay via an alternative paypal - will I still be protected?

If the payment isn't attatched to the item number then I don't think you will be protected.

Hopefully someone else here will know more.

I'm suspicious about the blocked bit tbh.

If you are not happy you ask ask for a mutual withdrawal - reason = you can't pay by the means advertised
