Ring your bank and find out which ones have been cashed, they will be able to tell you. Then cancel the old one before you send a new one.

Can you ring the bank with the list of cheque numbers and see which have/have not been banked? If you can identify and put a stop on the lost one, you could replace the payment.

Does the seller have good feedback?

I've had cheques go missing in the post before, it happens. Check your statement, mark off the cheques that have been cashed and cancel the one that's gone missing. Send the seller a new cheque.

what was the total of the item you bought, chekc your bank statement for that amount, then request a copy of the cheque cashed from your bank.

Sellers rarely cash cheques and open disputes tbh she is dumb if she does

check the charge for cancelling a cheque before you do so - if you do so that is.

lisalisa I hope you dont mind me asking this on your thread but it saves me starting a new one for a small question!
If someone you didnt know contacted you because you had left feedback on an item they were interested in buying and they wanted your opinion on it would you reply? Is this the done thing ebay mnetters?
