Seller not responding

I won an auction on Monday. It's a collection only item and cash OK collection was specified by the seller as preferred payment method so I haven't paid.

I've now sent 2 messages asking to arrange collection this weekend but the seller hasn't responded. I suspect it's because the item has sold too cheaply (I was the only bidder).

Any tips going forward? I want the item.

Nothing you can do really if they don’t want to sell you the item.

Personally I’d be inclined to pay via PayPal and if you don’t hear from them open a non receipt case and then leave negative FB.

Obviously you still won’t get your item but at least they’ll have a defect on their accout and a negative. If you haven’t paid then if you leave a neg eBay can remove it.

Thanks. I was wondering about whether I was better off paying by PayPal in this situation as I want to give negative feedback. Very annoying.
