your best bet is to email the seller and explain your mistake - tbh she has every right to be cross with you as you entered a contract the second you bid !

If she will post it to UK do you want it ?

You can't, just write to the seller and explain what happened and hopefully they will let you off with out giving you bad feed back.

Is sending a cheque really that much hassle ? Takes about 1 minute doesn't it ?

I think you should buy it and honour your side of the agreement - easier to get her to send it to your parenst !

Can't you write the cheque in Euros ?? I've written UK cheuqes in Euros - had no problem with it ! Ask the bank !
