I ordered some fabric off eBay. I think they must have sold out so instead sent me a bit extra of the two other types of fabric I had ordered! No note explaining or email explanation just an invoice included for all 3 items. So in effect they haven’t sent what I ordered. I also specifically wanted the 3 different types of fabric for a project. I have emailed them and they just said “check my order”... I assume I just wait 8days and then raise a formal complaint? Am I entitled to a refund on the fabric they haven’t supplied?

I would suggest just contacting eBay now, try the live chat and just see what they say. It's likely they'll have to wait for the week I think it is they give sellers but it'll give you a better understanding of where you stand. If you haven't I'd Maybe open a case as well as that puts a time limit on the whole thing.

You don't need to wait, they've responded already - the pause is to give them time to get back to you.

I'd reply with "I've checked my order, fabric XX is still missing. Please deliver or refund." Don't follow up on having extra of the others, they may always add a bit for customer satisfaction reasons. You can set off a refund request immediately.

Thanks spoon I did reply straight away and asked for the missing fabric in case it had been sent under separate post. I’ve not acknowledged the extra fabric in the other designs as i hadn’t realised that’s what they’d done till I measured it last night. I replied to the “check your order” email with a no you haven’t supplied what I’ve ordered.. hmmm why are these things never straight forward I stopped using eBay last year due to kept getting issues then try again and again I have to lose my time sorting out poor customer service grrrr!
