High combined postage

I bought a number of small inexpensive items off a seller on eBay. I messaged the seller before bidding asking if they would combine the postage for me and they said yes.
So I bid and won a few items including 3 small frame, a gift box, a canvas shopping bag and some tealight candles and one top.
When the auctions had ended she sent me payment reminders for all of them but no invoice.
I requested an invoice and she sent me one for £15 postage. Second class standard.
The items cost less than a fiver, and as a seller I know I could post it 2nd class as a medium parcel for £5.05 if it didn't go as a small.
I've asked if they could possibly reconsider postage charges but haven't had a reply.
Do I still have to pay this?

If you want them items, then yes. But feel free to leave them low stars for postage and communication.

For the price the postage costs, it makes the total more than I would have ever paid for the items due to condition of the items etc. Is there a way to back out of it now?

You can not pay, but the seller can open a non payment case. If they do and you don’t pay then you will get a defect on your eBay account but one won’t do you any harm.

You can ask the seller to cancel the order. I’d do that in the first instance, but they are under no obligation to agree.

Also, sellers can’t leave a buyer negative feedback, so you wouldn’t need to worry about that.

Okay, thank you for your help!
