I sold a dress for just under £20 to the highest bidder - there were a few bids. This was two weeks ago. The buyer didn't pay. I've sent three polite chasing emails - 'Hi, please pay and I'll get the dress in the post' sort of thing. Still no response at all. I've opened an unpaid item case on eBay.
Question is, should I leave negative feedback? I've never done this before. The buyer has a 100% positive f/b rating with feedback from the previous month along the lines of 'fast payer, great eBayer'. Total positive f/b of 450 which would suggest they're a pretty good eBayer.
I'm puzzled as to why they just ignore my polite messages. If they wanted to cancel it would be a pain but I would do it. The combination of no payment/no communication makes me want to give negative feedback. But what do others think? I don't want to get negative feedback in return I guess is what I'm saying, though I'd have good grounds to challenge it.
Alternative is just to walk away and put it down to experience. Views please!!! I think I"m just scared to do it!
